Nomination Potential

Ron Paul would have an incredible potential for securing a nomination for the Presidency, if only he made a few, crucial changes to his campaign strategy.

Campaign Signs
Bruce, 2-4-08
Seems to be the only candidate that has illegal posted campaign signs in my neighborhood. When I complained to the local "youth group" they got angry with me - one wanted to fight me :)

Ron Paul is a man of political idealism and integrity, and for that I commend him. After that, I fundamentally disagree with the foundation for his political ideology.

Willing and able to make real change

Ron Paul is the only candidate willing and able to make the changes necessary for the United States to return to the foundations of our Constitution.

Stay on offense

I think he has a real opportunity to redefine "Republican" and/or "Conservative".

Nomination Potential
Scott, Ohio - 2/4/2008

Ron Paul would have an incredible potential for securing a nomination for the Presidency, if only he made a few, crucial changes to his campaign strategy.

Firstly - and most obviously - he should not be running as a Republican.  If he had sought the Democratic nomination, or the Populist nomination, or the Communist nomination, he would surely have increased his chances at being nominated.

As it stands, though, the only time Ron Paul will see his name on election day this November, is when he has to show his Driver's License to the volunteer working at the polling center when he tries to vote.

And we should all be thankful that this is the case.

We should all be thankful that Ron Paul is an environmentalist, and as such, will (hopefully) withdraw his name from consideration prior to the general election.  As he will surely lose the Republican nomination in a few short months, he would have to run as an independent in the general election, and (hopefully) he will not do this.  Hopefully, his environmental conscious will get the better of him, and he will not waste the ink that would be used to print his name on the ballots this November.
